Back in Oz

I haven't written for a while because I've been unwell, and back in Australia. Looks like I'll be in Adelaide resting and practicing to prepare for a return to America in August. I have a few little projects on the boil until then including a lunchtime concert coming up in April. I'll be sharing the programme with Jamie Adam - my friend and colleague. We'll play Nagoya Marimbas, Wind Sketch, then I'll play Miki's Time for Marimba, Abe's Wind in the Bamboo Grove, and Lesnik's Midnight Pieces. It's a nice familiar programme and will be good fun to play in Elder Hall with Jamie. I probably won't update the blog much until I get back to America and I have more exciting news.
